First of all I have to give a big shout out to the man
himself! MI PAPA! It is his birthday today, I wont tell you all how old he is,
lets just say he's getting real old! haha
So we had a great week this week! Tuesday, like I mentioned
last week, we had the amazing opportunity to attend the Temple as a mission! I
walked in, and you guys wouldn't believe the first person I saw! ELDER CHADWICK!
Wow what an amazing experience that was! It was the first time I had seen him
in the Mission! We had a lot of catching up to do and it was so fun! It
was so great to be able to enter into the Lords House and feel of his wonderful
spirit!
Then Thursday was obviously Thanksgiving! Here in the
DR, they don't celebrate thanksgiving, but that didn't matter! As a zone, we got
together and all brought food to share! It definitely wasn't the same as home
but it was as good as it gets haha!
Here in Los Mina, the work is picking up! We have been working
hard with the members to get an activity set up, so that the members can bring
their friends and we can watch the new Christmas videos from the church! We
have organized it for Friday so we will see how it goes!
Now that is the Christmas season, things in missionary work
start to pick up. Not only here in the DR but all over the World! Don't be
afraid to share your testimony about the real meaning of Christmas, and invite
your friends to hear of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ!!
